In the golden era of British pro wrestling, Brooks was Ireland’s biggest star and a true national hero. Having dominated the scene for years, Brooks was embroiled in a bitter rivalry with his protege turned adversary in a fierce battle for the Irish National Championship. It was a rivalry that took them both to new heights of fame and fortune, even after British wrestling disappeared from our TV screens.
Many years later, Brooks invited a camera crew to follow and investigate his legacy as he made his bid to recapture that title on the biggest show of the year. But there was one problem. He wasn’t booked. The Undying Legacy of Mickey Brooks has been written by James Tyler in association with Source Wrestling and will feature several wrestlers from the non-profit promotion. |
